Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 9, 2026
Plain-language summary (not a substitute for the Terms below). Supacontacts reads your Gmail and Google Calendar (read-only) to find contact details, cleans and de-duplicates them, and writes the enriched fields back to your Google Contacts. Your data stays yours. You can disconnect or ask us to delete your data at any time. Supacontacts is free while we're in early access; when we introduce paid subscriptions, they'll renew automatically until you cancel, and we'll tell you the price and terms clearly before you're charged. The full Terms follow.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Supacontacts LLC ("Supacontacts," "we," "us," or "our"), a California limited liability company that provides the Supacontacts service. They govern your access to and use of the Supacontacts website, applications, and services (together, the "Service").
Please read these Terms carefully. They include a limitation of our liability (Section 15) and important disclaimers about AI-generated information (Section 11). They also require individual arbitration of most disputes (with a small-claims option) and waive class actions — see Section 20, including how to opt out of arbitration within 30 days. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you have questions, email us at legal@supacontacts.com.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, joining our waitlist, connecting a Google account, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
If you're using the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that organization.
2. Who can use Supacontacts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction.
The Service is operated from the United States and is intended for users in the United States. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use in other locations. If you access it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
3. What Supacontacts is
Supacontacts is a contact-intelligence tool. With your permission, it connects to your Google account and:
- Reads your Gmail (read-only). We read the text of your email messages to find contact details and intelligence — names, phone numbers, job titles, companies, addresses, and similar information. We never send, reply to, delete, or otherwise change anything in your Gmail.
- Reads your Google Calendar (read-only). We read your calendar events for names, locations, and when you last met someone. We never create, edit, or delete calendar events.
- Reads your existing and "other" Google Contacts (read-only for discovery). We read your Google Contacts, including Google's auto-generated "Other Contacts," to understand who's already in your address book.
- Writes to your Google Contacts (read + write). Google Contacts is the only place the Service writes. The Service creates new contacts and adds information to existing ones — a missing phone number, title, or company. We fill in what's missing rather than overwriting what you've already set, and each field we add is attributed to its source so you can trust it or correct it. The Service removes only contacts or information it added — for example, when you undo a change, merge two contacts, or a contact we added turns out not to be someone you keep in touch with — and it never removes a contact it added once you've edited it.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to extract and structure this information (see Section 11). We may add, change, or remove features over time (see Section 18).
4. Your account
To use most features, you'll sign in with Google and create a Supacontacts account. You're responsible for:
- keeping your login credentials and your connected Google account secure;
- everything that happens under your account; and
- notifying us promptly at legal@supacontacts.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
We're not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account that results from your failure to keep your credentials secure. You may connect more than one Google account, subject to any limits we set.
5. Connecting your Google account — the access you authorize
When you connect a Google account, Google shows you a consent screen listing exactly what you're granting. By approving it, you authorize Supacontacts to access your Google data as described in Section 3 — read-only access to Gmail and Google Calendar, read access to your existing and "other" contacts, and read-and-write access to Google Contacts — for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You represent and warrant that:
- you own, or are otherwise authorized to connect and grant access to, each Google account you connect; and
- your use of the Service and your connection of these accounts does not violate any agreement you have with your employer, Google, or any other party, or any law that applies to you.
You're always in control. You can disconnect an account inside Supacontacts, or revoke our access directly from your Google Account security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions), at any time. Revoking access stops future processing of that account. How we handle your data on disconnection or deletion is described in Section 17 and in our Privacy Policy.
6. Google APIs, AI providers, and other third-party services
The Service relies on third-party services to work:
- Google. The Service accesses Google Workspace and Google account data through Google's APIs. Your use of Google-provided features through the Service is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Google's policies, in addition to these Terms. Supacontacts's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We're not responsible for Google's services, and Google may change, limit, or discontinue API access in ways that affect the Service.
- AI providers. We use third-party artificial-intelligence services — currently Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex AI (Gemini), and TypeSafe — to extract, structure, and check contact information, write relationship summaries, and answer your searches. Our Privacy Policy lists what each provider does and what data it receives. We may use other AI providers under terms that don't allow them to train on your data. We do not permit our AI providers to use your data, including your corrections, to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve their models, consistent with the commitments on our website and in our Privacy Policy.
- Payment processing. Paid subscriptions are processed by a third-party payment processor (Stripe). Your payment information is handled by that processor under its own terms and privacy policy; we don't store full payment-card numbers ourselves.
Your use of these third-party services through the Service is at your own risk and may be governed by their terms. We're not responsible for third-party services we don't control.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right, or in violation of Google's terms or the terms of any connected account;
- connect a Google account you don't own or aren't authorized to access;
- access, extract, or store contact data about people in ways that violate applicable privacy, anti-spam, or data-protection laws;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service or its infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a service bureau, except as we expressly permit; or
- use the Service to build a competing product, or use automated means to access it in a way that violates these Terms.
We may investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating accounts, for conduct that violates this Section or that we reasonably believe harms the Service, other users, or third parties.
8. Subscriptions and billing
In plain terms: Supacontacts is free while we're in early access. When we launch paid subscriptions, this section governs them. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel, we'll disclose the price and renewal terms clearly before you pay, and you can cancel anytime.
8.1 Current status and our right to charge
The Service is currently offered free of charge during early access. We reserve the right to introduce paid subscriptions and to begin charging for the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may offer the Service, or particular features, on a free, trial, promotional, or paid basis, and we may add, change, remove, or re-tier plans, pricing, features, and free or trial allowances at any time. Where the law or these Terms require notice for a change that affects an existing paid subscription, we'll provide it (see Sections 8.6 and 18). Nothing in these Terms obligates us to keep the Service free.
We won't charge you for a paid subscription without first obtaining your agreement to the applicable price and plan at the point of purchase.
8.2 Plans, fees, and billing cycle
Paid access will be sold as a recurring subscription. Pricing isn't set yet, and nobody is billed before it is. When you subscribe, checkout will show you the plan, its price, its billing interval (the "Billing Cycle"), the currency, and what's included before you confirm. Subscriptions are billed in advance at the start of each Billing Cycle.
8.3 Authorization to charge; auto-renewal
AUTOMATIC RENEWAL — PLEASE READ. When you buy a paid subscription, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the payment method you provide, on a recurring basis, for the subscription fee (plus applicable taxes) at the start of each Billing Cycle. Your subscription automatically renews for successive Billing Cycles of the same length at the then-current price, and you will be charged automatically, until you cancel. You will not receive a separate reminder before each renewal except where the law requires one. To avoid being charged for the next Billing Cycle, you must cancel before that cycle begins, as described in Section 8.7. You may cancel at any time.
You represent that you're authorized to use the payment method you provide, and you authorize us to store it and to charge it (and any updated payment method your card network or processor provides to us) for amounts you owe. For annual subscriptions, or where otherwise required by law, we will send a reminder notice before the renewal charge with clear instructions on how to cancel.
8.4 Taxes
Prices don't include taxes unless stated. You're responsible for any sales, use, VAT, GST, or similar taxes associated with your subscription, other than taxes based on our net income. Where we're required to collect such taxes, we'll add them to your charges.
8.5 Failed payments
If a charge fails, we may retry it and may suspend or downgrade your paid access until payment succeeds. You're responsible for keeping your payment method current. We may use a payment processor's account-updater service to obtain updated card details. If we can't collect payment after reasonable attempts, we may cancel your subscription.
8.6 Price and plan changes
We may change subscription prices and the contents of plans. For changes that affect an existing paid subscription, we'll give you advance notice by email or in the Service before the change takes effect, and, where required, the change will apply from your next renewal. If you don't agree to a price change, you can cancel before it takes effect; continuing to use the paid Service after the change takes effect means you accept the new price.
8.7 Cancellation
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account settings, or by emailing legal@supacontacts.com. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. Unless a refund is required by law or these Terms, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current Billing Cycle — you keep paid access until then, and you won't be charged again after that. Cancelling your subscription doesn't automatically delete your account or your data; to do that, see Section 17.
8.8 Refunds
Except where required by applicable law or as described in the next paragraph, subscription fees are non-refundable, and we don't provide refunds or credits for partial Billing Cycles, unused time, or periods during which your account remained open but you didn't use the Service.
If we discontinue the paid Service or terminate your paid access without your breach before the end of a prepaid period, we will refund the unused portion of that period.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under the law of your jurisdiction (including, for California residents, any rights under California's automatic-renewal law).
8.9 Free trials and promotions
We may offer free trials or promotional pricing. Unless we state otherwise, when a free trial ends, your subscription converts to a paid subscription at the then-current price and the auto-renewal terms in Section 8.3 apply, unless you cancel before the trial ends. We may modify or withdraw trials and promotions at any time, and eligibility conditions apply.
9. Intellectual property — ours
The Service, including its software, design, look and feel, text, graphics, logos, and the "Supacontacts" name and marks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. You may not use our name, logos, or branding without our prior written permission.
Feedback. If you send us ideas, suggestions, comments, bug reports, feature requests, ratings, survey answers, or other feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use that feedback without obligation to you. Feedback does not include Your Data — including the corrections, tags, notes, and other annotations you add to the Service — which Section 10 governs.
10. Your data and content
Your data is yours. As between you and us, you own the contact data, email and calendar content, and other information the Service accesses or generates from your connected accounts, and the corrections, tags, notes, and other annotations you add to the Service (together, "Your Data"). We don't claim ownership of it.
10.1 The license you give us
You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to access, copy, store, process, analyze, create derived data from, transmit, and display Your Data, and to write to your Google Contacts as described in Section 3, so that we can: (a) provide, maintain, secure, and support the Service; (b) improve the Service as described in Section 10.2; and (c) comply with the law. Our service providers may process Your Data for these purposes under written obligations to us.
This license lasts while your account exists and ends when your account is deleted, except for copies the law requires us to keep and backups that expire on their normal schedule.
Apart from those copies, only the following survive deletion, and we may keep and use them perpetually ("Derived Works"): (a) improvements to the Service — our rules, prompts, checks, filters, gates, processing steps, and thresholds; and (b) aggregated or de-identified data that can't reasonably identify you or anyone in your contacts. We won't try to re-identify that data.
10.2 How your corrections improve the Service
We use your corrections to fix your own results and to improve the Service for everyone — our rules, prompts, checks, filters, gates, processing steps, and score thresholds. We use automated tools, including AI, to study specific corrections and the results they fixed, so we can improve how Supacontacts works. A person on our team looks at a specific correction only if you ask us to, for security, or to comply with the law. The improvements we make contain no email content or contact details. You can turn this off anytime in Settings; your corrections will still fix your own results.
10.3 What we never do with Your Data
We don't sell Your Data, and we don't use it for advertising. We don't use Your Data, including your corrections, to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve any AI or machine-learning model, whether run by us or anyone else, proprietary or open-weight, and we don't allow our AI providers to do so either.
10.4 Your contacts and our Privacy Policy
The enriched contacts we create live in your Google Contacts. That means they remain in your control and stay with you even if you stop using Supacontacts. How we collect, use, retain, and delete Your Data — and how you can access or delete it — is governed by our Privacy Policy, which controls over these Terms on any data-handling matter.
11. AI-generated information — verify before you rely
Supacontacts uses artificial intelligence to read unstructured email and calendar text and to infer contact details. AI extraction is not perfect. Extracted and enriched fields are automated best-guesses, and they may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong.
That's why the Service shows a confidence indication and the source for fields it adds: so you can trust it or correct it. You're responsible for reviewing enriched contact data before relying on it for anything important, and you shouldn't treat AI-generated output as verified fact or as professional advice. We're not liable for decisions you make in reliance on AI-generated information, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Suspension and things we can do
We may suspend or limit your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms, if required to protect the Service or other users, if required by law or by Google, or to address security or technical issues. Where practical and appropriate, we'll try to give you notice.
13. Term and termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service.
- You can stop using the Service at any time. You can disconnect your Google accounts, cancel any paid subscription (Section 8.7), and ask us to delete your account and data (Section 17).
- We may suspend or terminate your access, or discontinue the Service, at any time — for cause (such as a breach of these Terms) or, for the Service generally, with reasonable notice where practical.
What happens on termination. When your access ends: your right to use the Service stops; any accrued payment obligations survive; and we'll handle Your Data as described in Section 17 and our Privacy Policy. Because the enriched contacts we create are written into your own Google Contacts, they remain in your Google account and stay with you after termination. Sections that by their nature should survive — including Sections 8 (for amounts owed), 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, and 21 — survive termination.
14. Disclaimers — the Service is provided "as is"
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that AI-extracted or enriched data will be accurate, complete, or current; that defects will be corrected; or that the Service will always be compatible with Google's APIs, which are outside our control and may change. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$100.
These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law (for example, for our fraud or gross negligence where the law doesn't permit its exclusion).
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Supacontacts and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your misuse of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms or of any law; (c) your violation of any third party's rights, including your connecting a Google account you weren't authorized to access; or (d) content you submit or accounts you connect in violation of another person's rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our breach of these Terms, negligence, or willful misconduct. We'll notify you of any such claim and may participate in the defense; you won't settle any claim in a way that imposes obligations on us without our consent.
17. Data handling on disconnection and termination
You can disconnect a connected account at any time from within Supacontacts or from your Google Account settings, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing legal@supacontacts.com or using in-product controls where available. When you disconnect an account, we stop processing new data from it. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify Your Data as described in, and within the timelines set by, our Privacy Policy, except where we're required or permitted by law to retain it. The enriched contacts previously written to your Google Contacts remain in your Google account and are yours to keep, edit, or remove through Google.
18. Changes to the Service and to these Terms
The Service. We're actively building Supacontacts, and we may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features (including free, trial, and paid tiers) at any time. Where a change materially reduces a core feature of a paid subscription you're actively paying for, we'll give you reasonable notice and, where appropriate, an option to cancel.
These Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know by a reasonable method — for example, by email or a notice in the Service — before they take effect, and we'll update the "Last Updated" date above. Changes don't apply retroactively. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and, if you have a paid subscription, cancel it.
19. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and, where applicable, by the federal laws of the United States. Subject to Section 20, any dispute that goes to court will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, which will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to venue there.
20. Dispute resolution
Please read this section carefully. It requires you and us to resolve most disputes through binding individual arbitration instead of in court, and it waives class actions. You can opt out of arbitration within 30 days (Section 20.6).
20.1 Informal resolution first
Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve it informally by emailing legal@supacontacts.com with a description of the dispute. If we have a dispute with you, we'll email you at the address associated with your account. We'll try to resolve it with you in good faith for at least 30 days before either of us starts a formal proceeding.
20.2 Small claims court
Either you or we may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead of arbitration, as long as the claim qualifies and stays in that court on an individual basis.
20.3 Binding individual arbitration
If we can't resolve a dispute informally and it doesn't go to small claims court, you and Supacontacts agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, rather than in court. The arbitration will be administered by JAMS under its applicable arbitration rules and the JAMS Policy on Consumer Arbitrations Pursuant to Pre-Dispute Clauses Minimum Standards of Procedural Fairness (the "Consumer Minimum Standards").
- Fees. You will pay no more than the consumer filing fee JAMS sets under the Consumer Minimum Standards. We will pay all other JAMS fees and the arbitrator's compensation.
- Hearing. At your choice, any hearing will take place in Los Angeles County, California, by video, or in the county where you live.
- Award. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could award on an individual claim, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
20.4 Class-action and class-arbitration waiver
You and Supacontacts agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding, whether in court or in arbitration. There will be no class arbitration, and the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims.
20.5 Public injunctive relief
A claim for public injunctive relief (relief whose main purpose is to stop unlawful conduct that threatens future harm to the general public), to the extent applicable law makes it available and doesn't allow it to be waived, will not be decided in arbitration. It will be decided by the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, after the individual claims in the dispute have been arbitrated, and it will be stayed until then.
20.6 Your right to opt out
You may opt out of the arbitration and class-waiver provisions in Sections 20.3–20.4 by emailing legal@supacontacts.com, or writing to us at the address in Section 22, within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name and that you opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, Section 19 (governing law and courts) governs your disputes.
20.7 Mass filings
If 75 or more similar arbitration demands are filed against the same party by claimants represented by the same or coordinated law firms, the JAMS Mass Arbitration Procedures and Guidelines apply.
20.8 If part of this section is unenforceable
If any part of this Section 20 is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. But if the class-action and class-arbitration waiver in Section 20.4 is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim will proceed in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, and not in class arbitration.
21. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and supersede any prior agreements on that subject.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate. We may also assign or transfer these Terms, your account, and Your Data in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, and by agreeing to these Terms you consent to that transfer. Whoever acquires Your Data this way must honor the commitments in our Privacy Policy for the data it receives.
- Force majeure. We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of Google's APIs, third-party providers, or infrastructure.
- Relationship. These Terms don't create any partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and us.
- Notices. We may give notices by email to the address associated with your account or by posting in the Service. You can send notices to us at legal@supacontacts.com.
- Interpretation. Section headings are for convenience only. "Including" means "including without limitation."
